cactus and succulents

 cactus and succulents seem very popular at the moment. i think it's because, besides their vibrant colors and shapes, they are so cute and easy to take care of. i admit i'm in love with them, too. when i visited lowes in my town i just couldn't stop glancing at these beauties on the rack, and i decided to bring them to home. by far they're doing great but i feel like i'd better have good knowledge of them so that i can identify them correctly and get some great tips to keep them alive long enough. welcome to my home, beauties!

do you have a dream that you've been thinking it is never gonna happen to you? i had one, playing ukulele. when i, totally by chance, watched a video clip on youtube that Ingrid Michaelson performing her song with her ukulele, i instantly fell in love with this tiny but beautiful instrument. {needless to say, she is so talented and adorable!} last month my husband suggested me that i should pursue a hobby for myself {he was worried that i had been so dull and depressed for about a whole month}. so i asked him to buy an ukulele as a gift for our wedding anniversary and finally i got one. i am sure things are not gonna help me out to sit around and learn how to play uke most of my days but i will give it a try. with a lot of patience. it will be so amazing that i play uke and sing along with my boys! ;)
