knitting is a therapy

it was one of those days i feel annoyed with so many uncertain things. it was one of the freezing cold days that nobody would like to come over my house and listen to me. it was one of those days i want to cry hard. in need of something immediately to do to stop myself feeling low, i started knitting out of the blue. i added the very first stitches onto the knitting needle, knitted in the round, and soon realized that i was so relaxed simply by doing that. The rhythmic repetitive movements helped me focus on the present moment, distract myself from worrying about the past or fear of the future. it was such a therapeutic experience!
